I was primary caretaker for my Mom for 4 years while she fought Cancer, had beginning dementia, as well as many other health issues. I was her advocate and caretaker. I learned how to administer medicines (oral and IV), how to dress wounds, bathe her... I did everything that needed to be done 24 hours a day.
