I have spent 25 years in the medical field, with the last 8 in elder care/hospice. I have found that elder care is God's calling on my life. The elder generation is, at times, the most forgotten. I don't see a patient as a job, but as a ministry on whom I can serve. I'd describe my personality as caring and friendly. I love caring for seniors. They have so much wisdom! I'm looking for a job that I can be a part of a team. Working alongside families and physicians provides continuity of care for the patient. I started caring for seniors about 8 years ago. In my spare time, I like to volunteer at the animal shelter. One thing you should know about me is my dedication to both the patient and family. My skills include medication management and organization.

Tammy was hired to help be a caretaker for our mom, who was battling COPD and lung cancer. We thought it would be hard to hire someone we didn't know to help care for our mom. From the first day, our mom LOVED Tammy. It was incredible how fast they bonded. Tammy was so caring toward her. From sitting and talking with her, really listening each day, to all of the many tasks we asked of her, Tammy did them all with grace and love. We truly felt like our mom was loved well by Tammy. In addition, there are 5 of us siblings that Tammy interacted with throughout the months she cared for my mom. With every sibling, Tammy took lots of time and effort into making sure we each felt comfortable with the updates she had for us on our mom. Tammy was a true God-send to our family. In mom's final year of life, we couldn't have asked for a more loving person to walk with our mom. We will forever be in debt to Tammy for the love she poured out, not just to our mom, but our entire family.
