About Tammy

I have been tutoring children from the age range Of Pre-K to 4th grade for many years now. I started in the school system volunteering when my own sons started in K. I would tutor children in reading and math. I was there for so many days a week that the elementary school offered me a position as a sub/tutor. I love it! I prefer games that focus around what we are learning. I don't tell the children we have homework to do I call it fun pages. :) I like to work with families that understand that just because school vacation started does that mean that education ended. The importance of continuing a schedule that contains reading, writing and math every day for a short period of time only makes returning back to school less difficult for the parent, student and the teacher. There is learning in everything we do everyday. I believe in positive reinforcement/ rewards. Love learning. Love tutoring. Love BEING A NANNY!
