I really enjoy working with children! In addition to raising our four children and many years of unpaid experience with children, I have over six years of experience in a preschool classroom setting. I completed my Montessori training for three- to 6-year-old children approximately five years ago and have been a lead teacher most of the time since then. I have also taken approximately 175 additional hours of classes on a range of early childhood issues. I have been on the Montana Childcare Practitioner Registry for over six years. I believe in teaching children the skills they will need rather than simply doing things for them. I also believe that good communication between parents and caregivers is very important. Tami worked for us for about 6 months watching our 2 year old. She was reliable, responsive, and trustworthy. She encouraged baby sign language, skills (like cleaning up), etc as well as taking him to a nearby park to get energy out daily. Would recommend having her as a nanny. We ended up moving which is why she only worked for us for 6 months.
