About Tamia

Hi there! My name is Tamia and I am a part-time student studying in Early Childhood Education. I currently work as an instructional aid in a middle school. I mainly support students with special needs. I have more than 8 years of experience caring for young children. I am punctual, respectful and always begin my work with children with a connection - to ensure they feel safe and seen. I provide structure and am firm when needed, but I value playfulness and fun whenever possible. I love outdoor play, music, art, pretending, water and sensory play, and many more activities. I am looking for a wonderful family that values collaboration and great communication. I prefer to care for younger children but I am comfortable with all ages. I can help your children with self-regulation, emotional self-awareness, play skills and solving social problems. I am interested in both part-time and fill-time opportunities.
