About Tamia

Hello! I am Tamia (pronounced: tuh-me-yuh) and a little background information about who I am: I am a nature and animal loving individual with a devotion to compassion and empathy. I am an educator by career design, however, I too am well versed in social and medical care-giving for children and adults. I am an experienced goal- driven educational professional with 6 years of experience. My passion for educating others was inherited by my mother and aunts at a very young age. Passion for learning is the driving force behind my pedagogy. My educational career began as a high school junior tutor to eventually earing a post-graduate teaching certificate. I have experience with varying learning styles and abilities. I am well versed with ESE students and have taught children with intensive needs. I am known for my high yield results and impactful compassion for my students. I am able to guarantee a professional experience with meticulous care and flexibility.
