About Tamar

Hello! My name is Tamar (Tami) and I am from the country of Georgia, from which I have a MD degree. Prior to moving to the US, I practiced medicine for many years as a general practitioner. After coming to the US, I began working as a senior overnight caregiver and I cared for individuals with a variety of diseases including hear failure, dementia, cancer, etc. I then began working as a live-in caregiver for a woman who suffered late-stage Alzheimer's. I was with her, and her family, for 5 years, during which I was responsible for her care . I managed all of my patient care, medical and otherwise including: transportation, mobility, medication monitoring and administration, food preparation, bathing, as well as providing cognitive support and companionship as her memory continued to decline. I am loving, and compassionate caregiver with an in-depth knowledge of medicine from my time as a physician. I have my own car and drivers license.
