About Tamara

I like tutoring because I get to work with a student 1 on 1 to understand to become more confident in reading and writing In my spare time, I like to read and hang out with my cats. I also love to make stickers, magnets, design custom party favors, and many other arts and crafts. One thing you should know about me is that I am always honest about a students progress, both to the parents and the student. I believe that kids should know where they stand in their learning, but always in an age appropriate way. My skills include being able to see when a student is struggling with a concept and immediately pivot to try another way for them to understand it. I am able to make the lessons fun and engaging. I work growth mindset into the lessons
