About Tamara

I am a lifelong Alaskan with two grown daughters. I have worked in education for over 20 years and arts education for over 30 years. I have experience with K-12, adults with developmental disabilities and English Language Learners. I also helped take care of a friend's mother with dementia for the last few years of her life. For the last year and a half I have been working at a middle school as a student success coach, supporting students with study skills and school attendance. I am a natural caregiver and love finding the beauty in every little moment. I am especially good at engaging kids and making learning fun. For pet care, I am able to do drop in care at your home, and dog walking.
