About Tamara

Hi there! My name is Tamara , and I'm a current student at George Washington University, looking to teach after finishing my degree. I'm someone who genuinely loves working with kids and helping them shine in every environment. Over the years, I've gained hands-on experience as a substitute teacher, a one-on-one aide for students with special needs, a babysitter, daycare assistant, and summer school staff member. Each role has deepened my understanding of how children learn, grow, and thrive when they feel supported and encouraged. I am comfortable caring for up to two children and enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I follow parents' lead when enforcing household rules and communicate updates via text, phone, or in person. I also have First Aid Training and CPR Training. Additionally, I'm always happy to help with anything around and all household tasks to keep things running smoothly!
