I found Tamara on Care.com after our original nanny plan fell through. I was terrified to return to work and leave my baby with a stranger....from day 1 Tamara had me at ease! We hired her when our girl was 3 months old and she worked with our family for a year. Tamara made it bearable for me to go back to work and didn't mind that we had a nanny cam set up. She sent pictures, a daily schedule, and was so patient when I checked in a million times per day. Tamara followed any routine we set in place and I 100% believe she is the reason our daughter made leaps and bounds in her development early...any time I checked the camera she was engaged with M. After a couple weeks I didn't even need the camera anymore. Tamara took her on daily walks, talked with her, played with her and when M. napped she always did extra things around the house (M.s laundry, dishes, cleaning up the kitchen) that we didn't even ask her to do. She would cook M. breakfast and even fed the cat! Tamara goes above and beyond, is reliable, always early and is truly a member of our family. Though we transitioned to day care, Tamara will always be a part of our lives. It's not goodbye, it's see you later!
