About Takeia

I'd describe my personality as down to earth, level headed, and caring. I like working with kids because it is my passion. I have worked at a daycare before and during college, I was a pre-k teacher for multiple years and I am currently a kindergarten teacher. I'm looking for a job that can help me build long lasting relationships with amazing families while supplementing my teacher salary. I started working with kids during high school. I was in a program where I went to school for half a day and worked at the daycare for the other half. In my spare time, I like to sing, craft, babysit my little cousins and spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is that I love children and they tend to love me. I also work with children at my church. My skills include being able to teach or tutor if needed, crafting, and doing more than just watching tv or watching a screen.
