About Taisha

I am the Lead Teacher for Pre-K at the Goddard School in Redmond, WA, where I progressed from float teacher to my current role. I create a nurturing environment and maintain open communication with parents about their children's growth. I hold a B. A. with Honors in Philosophy and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Washington and an A. A. with High Honors from Green River College. My educational background enhances my ability to engage effectively with children and families. I believe every child deserves respect and compassion. My holistic approach promotes emotional, social, and cognitive development, emphasizing inclusivity. With a year of childcare experience, I can care for up to four children, ages 0-6. I'm patient, creative, and enjoy outdoor sports and educational games. Certified in CPR and First Aid, I speak Portuguese and Spanish and am comfortable with pets.
