About Taelor

I am a graduate of The University of Vermont, having received my Bachelor s degree in English Literature. I lived in an Environmental Cooperative while there -- healthy, slow, & mindful eating are very important to me. I am originally from New York City but have lived in Chicago area for two years now. I have experience as a babysitter, nanny, and a pre-primary Montessori teacher (2&3-year-olds). I have worked with children ranging from just weeks old to those in their late teens. I grew up with two siblings much younger than I am, both of whom taught me very much about childcare in their own right. Nothing brings me more delight than adventuring around with such free spirits. I take a creative approach with children -- I try for a "no screens" policy -- art, movement, & fresh air are the type of engagements I encourage.
