About Taegan

I'm an energetic, and positive caregiver with over 7 years of experience working with children of all ages. I studied at Central Connecticut State University as a Dance major with a Special Education minor, where I focused on supporting and teaching students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Although I wasn't able to finish my degree due to financial reasons, my passion for helping kids has only grown stronger. I currently work in a therapeutic school program providing one-on-one support for children who need extra care and attention. I'm now moving to Rocky Hill and looking for a position closer to home where I can continue making a difference. I first started working with kids at 16, volunteering at local community centers and after-school programs. In my free time, I enjoy dancing and volunteering in Willimantic. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, highly reliable, and always prioritize safety, communication, and building strong, positive relationships with every child I work with.
