About Tabitha

Hi!! I'd describe my personality as responsible, fun, caring, loving and easy-going. I like working with kids because they are so much fun and always learning. It's exciting to watch children learn, grow and experience life. I started working with children when I was 14, babysitting for my neighbor. Over the past 18 years, I became a mom, worked in two daycares, babysat part and full time for several families and ran my own in-home daycare for three years; including caring for three sets of twins! I believe in learning through play and problem-based learning. I love doing crafts and science experiments, baking and cooking. I have my own car. I do not smoke. I love pets. I have a cat. In my spare time, I like to garden! I hope to have a farm someday. My skills include CPR and first aid certified, reliable, multitasking, organizing, cleaning, cooking, baking, creative play, crafts, play-led learning, real life skills.
