I am 31 years old and I have 15+ years of child care and teaching experience. I have been a teacher for Montessori Schools for 7 years in Toddlers (15m - 3yo) and Early Childhood (3-6yo). I love teaching language skills, reading, writing, and math (I can also do potty training!) I have babysat for an innumerable amount of times for friends, family, and their acquaintances, children ranging in ages from newborn to 14. I have also been a camp counselor for 10 years, working with children 4-15 in outdoor settings with Girl Scouts and Prince William County Parks and Recreation Department. I am from a Military family (Navy) and am a lifelong Girl Scout. I love the outdoors, and arts and crafts. I can help with homework/tutoring in Elementary Science and Math. I can tutor in English through high school, including Essays. I am CPR/First Aid II certified and have Wilderness First Aid (Pre-EMT). I am pet-friendly, including cats, dogs, and turtles.
