About Sylvia

Hello! My name is Sylvia (Norcross, GA). I am a certified Art Teacher and am currently working at a Gwinnett County Public School. I am looking for extra work for evenings and weekends. I have a long history of babysitting and caretaking. This includes taking care of children of all ages (including ones with special needs). Some of my professional credentials include a GPA of 4. 08, receiving the Presidential Honor Roll for the entirety of my enrollment at Georgia State, and passing both portions of the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators at the professional level. In my time teaching I have created dozens units for K-12. I run my own art club, and spend hundreds of hours with children monthly. I love finding new ways to combine fun with learning. And often that includes art (as that is my favorite thing). I love playing games, going outside, making art, visiting museums, going to movies, dancing, singing, listening to music, seeing plays, and much more!
