My name is Sylvia C. I am 54 years old. I've been married for 37 years and have only one son, of 35 years old. He is a paramedic and fireman who graduated from UCLA with his masters in History. I have been working full time as a babysitter for the past 36 years. Growing up I always wanted to be a school teacher, but got married after high school and decided that my family was more important. I got started babysitting, when I had my baby. I would babysit the neighborhood kids. I have babysat anywhere from 1 child to 5 children at the same time, from newborns to those of pre-teenage years. I am most comfortable babysitting 1 or 2 children at the same time. I'm bilingual in Spanish & English, I like animals especially dogs & cats. What I like most about babysitting is watching the children grow physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and knowing that I took part along with their parents in setting a foundation for their lives.

Sylvia is wonderful. She started with us when my first child was 11 weeks old, and stayed with us until my third child was started school. Eight years total. She loves children and treated mine as if they were her own. She engaged with them, played with them, did activities with them. Always did things as we asked, respected our schedule, kept our house tidy and did laundry. I truly can’t recommend her enough!
