About Sydney

My name is Sydney and I just moved to Arizona to be a student at Grand Canyon University! For the past few years I've worked for the kids ministry at my church, which resulted in such strong connections being built that I even babysat for the kids outside of the church as well. I've grown up in a family that works along side the foster care system and hosted many foster kids. With that being said, I have a lot of experience with a variety of behaviors and ages in children. I would describe myself as an optimistic, driven, honest, responsible, and creative person. At Grand Canyon I'm studying Art and Graphic Design. I love crafts, drawing, and artistic activities which I love to incorporate with the kids I work with. A few things about me is that I love exploring the outdoors, animals/pets, sports, hiking, and being around friends and family. I love kids and being apart of a big family has helped me develop a lot of skills, especially as an older sister. I am CPR and first aid trained.
