About Sydney

I a compassionate and hardworking young woman who is looking to spend her extra time helping out families that may need an extra hand. With over 9 years of experience in childcare, I have been taking care of children since I practically was one. I started helping out close friends and family members in my community, eventually started volunteering in the nursery at my local church, and have since taken a more professional role. Upon arrival to college, I joined multiple on-campus organizations that were rooted in or had a capacity to work positively with children both at Vanderbilt's Hospital and locally in Nashville, as well as conducted research promoting positive intervention models for children and adolescents with mental illness(es). During my summer time off, I volunteered at Saint Augustine Youth Services as a mentor for young boys. Above all, I am dedicated to encouraging all children to learn and try new things, have fun, and exercise their sense of humor.
