About Sydney

Hi there! My name is Sydney and I am a 21-year-old senior in college looking to work part time as a babysitter for a family in the Grand Rapids area. I am also available for one-time jobs (availability is the same as for recurring jobs). I have eight years of experience as a childcare provider and have worked with a wide range of ages, from newborn to 12 years old. Besides independent babysitting jobs, I have provided childcare for large events, served in my Church's nursery, worked as a seasonal nanny and implemented one-on-one behavioral therapy with kids at an Autism Center. I love kids and believe that it's important for them to be immersed in a creative, active, and loving environment everyday. My goal is to foster an attitude of gratitude, optimism, and joy so that the kids can grow as they explore the world around them.
