About Sydney

Hi! My name is Sydney, and I'm a current OTD graduate student at Pitt. I'm an aspiring Occupational Therapist, and have over 100 hours of experience in a pediatric clinic, meaning I'm comfortable with all kids! I am looking to help families in need of extra hands afterschool and during the weekends! I like working with kids because I know how important a strong caregiver that you can rely on is. I like to be a role-model, and I just love seeing how kids interact with the world. I started working with kids when I was in high school as a babysitter. In my spare time, I like to read, scrapbook, go to the beach and swim! One thing you should know about me is I never judge and want to help others always! My skills include creating fun activities, following a schedule, and encouraging their curiosity. As an occupational therapy student, my experience in the field has allowed me to learn many skills to foster fun development!
