About Sydney

Hello! My name is Sydney, and I'm a college student living in D. C. this summer. I love spending time with children and have plenty of babysitting and counseling experience. I'm am hoping in particular to babysit on weekends and evenings! For the past four years, I've babysat in the evenings for younger kids (aged 10 months to 4 years), handling dinner, diapers, baths, and bedtime in addition to much playing and reading. Three summers ago, I also worked as a day camp counselor for 4-5-year-olds, guiding them through various outdoor activities over the course of the day. I was additionally a bus counselor, managing safety on the bus to/from camp and bringing games, music, and read-alouds to make the trip more engaging. After the camp season ended, I spent two weeks nannying full-time for a camper's family. Last summer, I gained more experience with older kids when I taught space science to 11-year-olds in a classroom setting. I'm excited to connect with your family!
