About Sydney

Hello! My name is Sydney. I have over 14 years of experience in caregiving, working with children ages 5 months to 12 years. I am also an artist and recently received my MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Between my academic pursuits, I spent the summers of 2016 and 2017 working at a daycare in Rhinebeck, New York. Since 2018, I have provided both part-time and full-time childcare for families in Brooklyn, the Hudson Valley, and Rhode Island. My skills include meal preparation, potty training, activity planning, arts & crafts, school pickup/drop-off, homework help, CPR & First Aid, and light housework. I find it incredibly rewarding to work with children, and as an artist, I cherish the opportunity to witness and nurture their creativity and curiosity.
