About Sydney

Hello! My name is Sydney. I have over 15 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to 12 years old. I am also an artist and recently received my MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Between my academic pursuits, I spent the summers of 2016 and 2017 working at a daycare in Rhinebeck, New York. Since 2018, I have provided both part-time and full-time childcare for families in Brooklyn, the Hudson Valley, and Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I will be moving back to Brooklyn at the end of this summer (sadly leaving the wonderful family I am currently working with) and am looking for a part time nanny position starting around September. Some of my skills include: meal prep, planning educational and engaging activities, arts & crafts, potty training, school pickup/drop-off, homework help, CPR & First Aid. I find it incredibly rewarding to work with children, and as an artist, I cherish the opportunity to witness and nurture their creativity and curiosity.
