Sydney stepped into our home to care for our four boys (4.5, 3.5 YO twins and 2YO) and picked-up right where our previous nanny left off, not skipping a beat! Four kiddos can be overwhelming, so I asked Sydney to come just after our regular scheduled nap time so she could see all four boys at their “worst”. It didn’t seem to phase her… Every parent wants to know their child/children are safe, loved, entertained, well fed and have fun… it’s a good sign when your kids beg for their caregiver to come back! Coming home to happy kiddos who are being played WITH (play dough, books, trains, hide & seek, etc.) is priceless! It’s easy for someone to “watch” your kids and turn on a TV, but to have someone (Sydney) who truly engages with the kids on their level is hard to find. Sydney was on-time, responsive, respectful and went above and beyond (assisted with laundry, kids lunches, tidying up around the house, reinforced the kids cleaning up after themselves, assisted with drop-off & pick-up, was eager for outings: bike rides, visits to parks, the pool, etc.) and honored the way we parent. Sydney is the best! Calm, gentle, nurturing, proactive and trustworthy!
