About Sydnee

Hi! My name is Sydnee, and I'm a trained dancer and ballet teacher. I have 10+ years experience as a dancer and performer and have intensely studied ballet (both the English and Russian methods), pointe, lyrical, and jazz. I've also studied tap and clogging. I've taught dance to students ranging in age from 3 to 18 years, choreographed dances for both competition and performance, and starting this fall will add pointe/pointe prep instruction to my teaching portfolio. I love helping people learn which is why I love teaching. I enjoy working with students with differing learning styles and accommodating my teaching approach accordingly. My goal as a dance instructor is to present dance not only as a technique to be mastered but, just as importantly, as an art to embrace. I love dancing and hope to in some way impart that love to every student that I instruct. Thank you for considering me for your teaching/tutoring needs.
