I adopted my first dog in summer of 2016, and by winter of 2016, realized she had a genetic predisposition toward leash reactivity and dog/human aggression. Rather than send her back, learning to handle her big feelings and make her world feel safe became my biggest priority. In the last decade, the care of dogs with reactivity and aggresssion challenges has been my biggest interest. I love caring for a dog who hates me. The frightened chihuahuas who have learned only biting gets the message across? The traumatized rescues? The hyper-reactive herders desperate for sheep? Send them my way!
