About Suzie

I have been a school teacher, private tutor, and home school mom. I place high value on education and believe that not all children learn the same way. I provide testing to find out how each child learns best and create a curriculum that best suits that child. Hands on manipulative and experiences that deepen the comprehension of skills taught are very important to me. concrete experiences are important to grasp before abstract concepts can be understood. I have practiced this theory for several years and find it very true. I am a Christian and my faith is a very big part of who I am. I treat children with kindness and have a reputation of doing so. I am soft spoken but have high expectations from all of my students. My students know that I care about them and want to help them grow.
