About me: After working as a software engineer, I decided to stay home with my first child (of four). I was primary caregiver and then teacher as we homeschooled (for non-religious reasons) from pre-k through 8th grade. I also did regular paid childcare in my home for infants through preschoolers. More recently, I worked for 10 years as a teacher and administrator at a secular, progressive hybrid school serving students in grades 6-12. I enjoy kids of all ages, and have taught at many levels, from learning phonics to helping with college applications. I'm happy to provide childcare/tutoring references.
