I'm passionate about providing compassionate care to all ages, and providing words of affirmation that make a person feel valued is just a natural part of who I am. In addition to caring for my own children (16-year-old twins), I have cared for my nieces and nephews (and great-nieces!) over the years. Other childcare experiences include working at a camp for children who were either deaf and/or blind, and/or orthopedically impaired, outdoor education instructor and behavior management camp counselor, serving as a Big Sister, summer day camp leader for kids ages 4-16, and a Special Olympics softball coach. I earned a Master's Degree in Social Work, a Master's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Indiana University.

We especially value her expertise with children with special needs and familiarity with American Sign Language.
