About Susie

(I am currently booked for the foreseeable future.) Hello! Thank you for considering me to provide care. I'm passionate about providing compassionate care to all ages, and providing words of affirmation that make a person feel valued is just a natural part of who I am. In addition to caring for my own children (16-year-old twins), I have cared for my nieces and nephews (and great-nieces!) over the years. Other childcare experiences include working at a camp for children who were either deaf and/or blind, and/or orthopedically impaired, outdoor education instructor and behavior management camp counselor, serving as a Big Sister, summer day camp leader for kids ages 4-16, and a Special Olympics softball coach. I earned a Master's Degree in Social Work, a Master's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Indiana University.
