Susan is my mom. We paid her to help us full-time with our son since the day he was born until close to two years old, when we sent him to daycare/preschool. Before taking care of our son, my mom nannied for a few families before so was up to date on how to take care of newborns including more recent changes in practices/feeding, etc. She was adaptable, helped us tremendously with nights, feeding, changing, bathing, sleep training, everything. For a year, we started living nomadically and she traveled with us to Asia, New York, Palo Alto and Berkeley, adapting to each new place by finding nearby parks, helping with grocery shopping, cooking and also with our pets. She is always willing to roll up her sleeves and do whatever is necessary to work as a team on the goal, whether that's a 13 hour flight or unpacking. I highly recommend her as a nanny and as an integral part of building a village to help raise a baby!
