About Susan

I am currently an Assistant Preschool Teacher . I have experience teaching/looking after 15+ children at a time. I work at an outdoor preschool, where our students experience learning through child led play and natural experience. We are outside for 75% of the day. I help to plan creative lessons geared toward the nature found on our property. I guide students in social emotional situations. I also have 4+ years experience working with children with delayed communication, behavioral challenges, and neurodivergence. My favorite parts of teaching in Early Childhood Education include: art/engineering - seeing what my students create and a segment of our week
