About Susanne

I am a peaceful, creative, and fun caregiver. I love to see children engage through play, music, dance, and games. I have a strong interest in FloorTime therapeutic play. If FloorTime is something that was recommended for your child, I can help while I work on my certification. I was born in Illinois, and grew up in Elmhurst. I graduated from NIU. I worked in Europe for 5 years, teaching ESL. I then moved to Eugene, Oregon where I raised my children. There, I worked for the WIC program for 7 years, and also worked in concert production. I cared for my late husband with ALS, and am familiar with hospital equipment and the medical system. I later worked 6 yrs in a special needs classroom. Then I was a personal support worker for two wonderful siblings with autism. I'm recently back in Illinois, and would be happy to work with your child/children, neurotypical or neurodivergent, with or without disabilities. I'm knowledgeable and reliable. I would love help in raising your family!
