I am a mom to a well-adjusted 12-year-old girl, whom I've raised almost single-handedly. I am a strong advocate of "attachment parenting" and am versed in all of the skills that accompany this approach to childcare. The bulk of my experience with young children is via motherhood -- with my own and her friends.
