I have 40+ years of experience working with typically developing children and children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and autism-spectrum disorder from 0-12 years of age. I seek fun and adventure playing indoors and outdoors. Indoors, I find joy through reading, crafts, games, and "play wrestling." Outdoors, I'm enthusiastic about taking walks and going to nearby parks and playgrounds. My expertise includes Dr. Stanley Greenspan's DIR/Floor-time intervention, so I've become skilled at following the child's lead while setting limits on challenges. I'm empathetic while gently pushing a child to problem solve. I work part-time; my hours and days are flexible. I commute on the east side of Cleveland - no "snow days." I don't transport children. No occasional babysitting unless I'm already connected with your family.

Susan is completely amazing! She helped to care for my 19 month old daughter who was home sick from day care for a few days. She is extremely talented with children and knows exactly how to interact with them. She started very slowly and allowed my very clingy daughter to warm up to her at her own pace. She engaged my daughter in wonderful activities and play, and I knew my daughter was safe and in good hands with Susan. Susan is responsible, dependable, communicates well and a really lovely person. I can't recommend Susan highly enough. We feel very lucky that we found Susan and look forward to many more play dates with her!
