About Susan

I currently tutor a kindergartener in reading, math, how to tell time, and writing. When he was in preschool I also tutored him in Spanish. I make up my own curriculum and also use books provided by his parents. I give him little rewards when he stays focused and does the work. I have tutored out of state twins when they were in kindergarten and in first grade. They come down after Christmas and stay for several weeks. Their teachers give them the class work they will miss. She read aloud to me from her Reading book. I would have her retelling me in her own words what she read. Also, I would ask her questions about the story.
