Hi ! My name is Susan and I love to care! I have been actively caring for others since 2001 and really even before then. Loving and caring for the elderly or the special needs of another is a God-given gift that I was given at a really young age. I have the passion to assure that my clients are like an extension of my family and treated with love, respect and allowed to maintain their independence as they so well deserve. I also have extensive knowledge of the needs of those elderly who are experiencing cancer, stroke, dementia, Parkinson's, end of life, and multiple various other conditions. I also have the ability to learn and maintain security in your situations so that you can maintain your own lives knowing your needed one is receiving the care they deserve. Please, feel free to contact me and let's discuss how I can help you and your loved one.

Susan started working with my family early in 2013 as my dad was recovering from a stroke he had in later December 2012. Dad was in skilled nursing but needed more care and attention as he was very sick and not recovering. We call Susan his "recovery coach." She took great care of my dad and he just adored her. Susan was great about staying in close contact with me and my siblings about what was going on with Dad and with my Mom who lived in the same complex. Gradually, dad got better and was able to move in with my mom in assisted living but Susan continued to work with my mom and dad taking care of them and helping them get to and from appointments, shopping, etc. Dad had a good year; in no small part because of the love and care Susan provided. Unfortunately, in January 2014 he got antibiotic resistant pneumonia. Susan was with us all as we stayed round the clock with my dad for a month until his death on Feb 3, 2014. Then, Susan stayed on helping my mom out till my mom moved away from Austin last winter. Susan is amazing and i couldn't come up with a critique of her if i tried!
