I am a 57 and hail from New York, but I've lived in Davis for 30 years. I have a BA in Sociology and a Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in counseling from George Mason University. I retired early from UC Davis after a career in Student Housing. For 20 plus years, I was the professional on call who dealt with after hour emergencies for 476 apartments housing student families. I've seen quite a bit. I've been in AYSO coach for 12 years, assisted local churches with the homelessness, participated on committees for the Vice Chancellor, the Mondavi Center, and served on the BOD for CA House. Additionally, I am a trainer in mediation and sexual harassment. I love to travel and have been to 13 different countries. I'm the proud mother of 3 boys, now grown. I'm a great conversationalist and a good listener, so I feel confident that I'd be good company for most anyone. I'm a reliable person who will make sure that the details are taken care of as needed.
