I'm a newly retired, Tennessee transplant looking to help my new community. I've been a pet owner and pet sitter for almost 30 years and love all fur babies. I enjoy going for walks, exploring new areas in Nashville and meeting new people. I have administered a variety of medications with even the most stubborn of animals. I have traveled to pet sit from Chicago to New York City. I am available for short or long term. The longest I have pet sat was for a soldier deployed for 6 months. I have experience with blind, deaf and tripod dogs as well as special needs cats. I look forward to making your life easier and putting your mind at ease, knowing your beloved pet is in caring and capable hands.

Susan provided wonderful, attentive care for our two family cats (a male and female, one shy and one outgoing) while we needed in home boarding during our recent house move. We were seeking a household without a dog to board our kitties for a couple of weeks, which is a tall order. I was delighted to find Susan to be wonderfully communicative, and experienced in her approach to letting our pets get to know her at their own pace. She was accommodating to set up the right environment for their daily habits and she was downright kind to Minnie and Peppers, giving them the calm, stable transition and support they really needed before adjusting into their new home with us. Susan knew to hold space for our shy kitty to help her adjust and feel comfortable during their time together; and provided all the loving affection our outgoing cat craves. After returning back to us and into their new household, both kitties were able to get along securely and calmly settle in, having had that bridge of caring and attention from Susan’s time with them. Would highly recommend!!! And our kitties, by their calm afterwards, seemed grateful for their time with Susan making great effort to help them feel at home. Her screened-in porxh with a view of outdoor birds and sunshine made all the difference as well—Susan would be truly a wonderful host for any pet, and ours seemed to really appreciate her hospitality!!
