About Susan

Hi! I'm Susan, a 26yo Norfolk native. I have 12 years of babysitting experience (more, if you count 10-year-old me "putting myself in charge" of my younger brother!), have also worked as a summer camp counselor for kids ages 8-17, and currently teach youth creative writing classes with The Muse Writers Center and Slover Library. I'm CPR certified, fluent in English and French, and just started learning Spanish. I adore working with kids and am comfortable with all ages. My interests include theatre, reading, horseback riding, running, creative writing, yoga/meditation, baking, bad puns, watercolors, music, surfing, improv, and anything outdoors. I'm a big animal lover, am always ready to play make-believe, and a pro tantrum-defuser.
