About Susan

I love sparking children's imaginations through art and storytelling, and I am deeply passionate about mentoring kids, and building their confidence. As a Colorado certified gardener, I truly enjoy teaching children in the garden and sharing the hands-on experience of planting and growing. With a background in nutrition and dietetics and a culinary arts degree, I take joy in applying that expertise to prepare healthy and nutritiously balanced meals for both the children and the family when needed, as well as bringing kids into the kitchen to safely explore food, measure ingredients, and create colorful snacks. I encourage a lifelong love of discovery by weaving interactive learning into our daily routines, and I am always eager to get kids outside to connect with nature, whether we are exploring local parks or working together in the garden.
