Hi, my name is Sue B. I am a semi-retired pediatric nurse and substitute school nurse for the Kansas City Public School District. I work part-time as a health educator, creating training programs for patients with chronic diseases. In addition to raising 2 children & caring for 4 adorable grandchildren, I have more than 12 years' experience caring for children at St. Louis Children's hospital. I am seeking an opportunity to care for a child on a regular, part-time basis because I really miss spending more time with children. My infant/children Basic Life Support & First Aid certifications are current and I have a background check report completed in July of 2017 when I began volunteering at Crossroads Hospice. I would be happy to provide you with a copy of the report if it would be helpful, but I don't mind having the review conducted again. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
