Respite Care Volunteer for Vitas hospice since the later part of 2017 through 2021. Companion Care/Caregiver since June 2021. After 25 years in the Commercial Insurance industry I decided to pursue my passion for helping people on a personal level. After taking care of my friends 90-year-old mother, I realized that there was a great need for helping those who could no longer drive, did not have family living locally, or family members living locally that were busy working. Do you or your loved one need help with getting to doctor appointments, hair appointments and/or shopping? My companion care can help meet these needs. Currently working as a Companion Care/Caregiver offering medication management, grocery shopping, doctor appointments, hair appointments, general errands, help with pets and laundry. As a Volunteer with Vitas Hospice, I had a full background check along with fingerprints. I have also have a background check with Care. com. References available.
