About Sura

Hello! I'm Sura, a board-certified occupational therapist, who has a passion for working with kids. I have worked in both childcare and education for 4 years now. I was an after-school teacher and inclusion facilitator working 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum for the City of Cambridge. I have completed 3 full-time clinical, and 3 part-time clinical experiences in adult rehabilitation and pediatric therapy where I learned how to treat and evaluate people with debilitating injuries and disabilities. My background in OT has shaped so much of who I am, and who I have always been, which is nurturing, patient, compassionate, creative, engaging, and a reliable, person. I am committed to ensuring kids' safety while also helping kids to engage in their favorite occupation (Play!). I'm a Muslim Sudanese American therefore I speak Arabic proficiently. I love animals and have my own. I love animals and have a passion for photography. I'm CPR and BLS certified (infant+kids+adults).
