About Summer

I like working with kids because they are like sponges! People often underestimate how observant and smart children are. My experiences going to a Montessori school up until high school and working as a Montessori teacher's assistant have inspired my goal of unlocking the full potential all children possess. I'm looking for a job that is fun and doesn't feel like a job! I would also love to have a positive and healthy relationship with my employers. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I used to volunteer to work with toddlers at the Montessori school I went to. When I turned 15, I got officially "hired" and worked for about three years until I left for college. Since then, I have worked for a year with children on the autism spectrum and have completed my MEPI training and am awaiting certification. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, go to the gym, and travel! I just recently came back from Brazil and Spain, and it was a blast.
