About Summer

Hi there! I am a reliable, patient, and creative individual who is currently teaching third grade science. I have also taught 5th, 7th and 8th grade ELA, and 4th grade all subjects. I have my master's degree in elementary education. My strengths are ELA, learning to read (phonics, fluency, reading comprehension, etc.), science and social studies. However, I have taught and tutored for math before especially fourth grade and below. I myself got A's in math while in school, but it's been awhile since I've revisited the upper grade math and I prefer to tutor for things I'm extremely confident in, although I'm not opposed to it. I also danced for 15 years mainly focusing on classical ballet at a private dance studio/company, so I am able to tutor for that as well. Whatever your need is I will put my all into seeing your child progress and succeed in their goals.
