About Summer

Hello, my name is Summer . I am 18 years old and come from a large family of nine. I have experience taking care of a vast variety of age groups ranging from infant to young teen. I have helped out in the nursery and kids programs at my church. Over the years I have babysat for several different families, and also spent time living in and helping out my older sister after she had her baby. I recently graduated high school and during my senior year I was a teacher's aid and assisted in the preschool classrooms gaining over 150 hours of classroom experience. I learned classroom management, communication skills, leadership ability, and overall childcare knowledge. A few of my favorite activities to do with kids are arts and crafts, exploring, going outside, baking, taking walks, writing practice, reading, or simply playing. I do not mind doing housework such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning/prep, or picking up around the house.
