I hired Sumerlyn to transport my daughters because I’m a healthcare worker that works overnight. She picked up the girls from another nanny’s house which was farther than my house. When she went to that nanny’s house I paid her double the hourly rate I paid her to come to my house which was $46/hr to transport the girls. Which was the pay most of the time cause I worked 4-5 nights during the week. Sumerlyn quit the day before the last day she was supposed to work without notice even after I already paid her for that week. Then insisted that I owed her for the trip to the nanny’s house she picked my children up from. That was something that was never discussed. I sent her the address before hand and asked her was she ok with picking them up from here and she said yes but a couple weeks later it became an issue. That’s how you handle something regardless of if it’s a w-2 job or a job that someone is paying you to receive your services. I will definitely not hire her again.
