About Suelen

Our nanny has been an extraordinary part of our family for nearly five years, caring for our son since he was just six months old. Now that he is starting full-time kindergarten, we are incredibly sad that our time with her is coming to an end. From the beginning, our highest priorities were safety, genuine care, and a loving environment—and she exceeded our expectations in every way. During his infant years, she supported him through major milestones, from crawling to walking, and created countless thoughtful sensory activities to enrich his days and development. As a toddler, his days were filled with crafts, painting, music, and dancing. As he grew, their activities grew with him: building, sewing, reading and writing, math, and even science experiments. Each day was filled with fun and laughter for the five years she has been with him. One of the greatest gifts she gave him was Portuguese. She spoke with him in Portuguese for hours every day and taught him to read and write in both Portuguese and English. Today, at five years old, he is fully fluent in both languages—speaking, reading, and writing—which is something we will always be grateful for. She has also been extraordinarily dependable, rarely missing a day in five years and always willing to help with an early morning or weekend emergency. Most importantly, she has loved and cared for our son as if he were her own. She is truly part of our family. We will miss her enormously, but we know that the next family fortunate enough to have her will be incredibly lucky.
